Sanitation Technician

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cleaning building and machines.
• Must follow plant safety and food safety procedures.
• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent Attendance.
• Understanding of the 7 steps of sanitation.
• Ability to work as a team and on your own.
• Prefer strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sanitation/Janitorial experience preferred, not required.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Monday - Saturday - 2nd Shift
• Hours: 4 pm – 12:30 pm (until cleaning is complete).
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally.
• Standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, stacking, & overhead reaching.
• Some use of stairs or step stools.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Pay based on Experience
